| Description | Habitat for Humanity is a Christian ministry providing training and support to empower families in breaking the cycle of poverty through ownership of a decent home. Starkville Habitat for Humanity is an United Way Agency. Habitat forms partnerships with low-income families to build simple homes that they then purchase on a no-profit, no-interest basis. Through volunteers, donations, and other support, Habitat brings a diverse community together in support of a family in need. |

Join hundreds of students, faculty, and staff every year as we volunteer to help build a home for a local family in need. No experience required!! Dress comfortably (wear tennis shoes/running shoes), bring a water bottle, and be prepared to make a difference in our local community.
