About

We are searching for compassionate volunteers to visit our Hospice patients in their homes in the Upstate area (Greenville, Spartanburg, Pickens and Easley, Simpsonville, Anderson County, etc.). Our Hospice patients suffer from life limiting illnesses and are in the last stages of their lives.

There are many things that a volunteer can do. The greatest is offer companionship. Having someone to talk to is very valuable for someone on their end-of-life journey.

A volunteer can read, cook, play games, do patients nails or hair, especially if they are a trained beautician. They can bring therapy dogs, as well as watch a movie, have a meal, or go for a walk. Whatever will give the patient enjoyment and purpose.

We are looking for a small commitment of 2-3 hours per week and will work with your schedule. As a Hospice provider, we would be honored for any volunteer to join our compassionate team. We look forward to meeting you.

I would love to help out, would there be any centers around northern Utah that I could help out at? I am currently 8 months pregnant and can only drive so far before going back to work. Let me know what options are available so I can help. Thank you.
