About

The Phoenix is a free sober active community that provides resources and a community to help individuals in their battle against addiction through the support of those who are walking the very same path. They offer peer counselling, free gym activities, meetings, and support throughout each individuals recovery process. They are located in downtown Denver and opened their doors back in 2010 and have continued to expand its support to the community of the Denver Metro area by remaining open every day of the week with its outdoor programs, strength training classes, yoga, open gym, CrossFit, boxing classes, and community social events.

The Phoenix programs are committed to providing free events to anyone with 48 hours of sobriety. Many of the participants of the outdoors classes do not have warm coats appropriate and much needed for the extreme weather of Colorado winters, the Phoenix is teaming up with Mile High United Way to get assistance with getting a few new coats that can be donated and re-used for participants of those outdoors classes which include hiking, snow-shoeing, and skiing. By being able to loan out coats, it will eliminate a major obstacle for participating in these recovery community-building activities and allow every individual the opportunity to participate no matter their financial state.

To help The Phoenix provide coats to enable more of their sober community members to participate in these outdoor events, please click on the following link to purchase a coat to send to the Phoenix:
