About
Cops N Kids runs once a week on Thursdays from 4-5:30*
What do we do at the reading room?
-Read to kids!
-Help and tutor the kids with homework
-play with them (usually academic games such as chess and scrabble)
-It really depends on wha the kids wants when they their homework
Take the time to mentor kids with an age range from elementary school to middle school!
Just rememeber: "The reading room opened to the general public in June 2011, with our mission 'to connect kids and community through literact' and out belief that 'every child is a story yet to be told'"- Cops N Kids
*times are subjected to change if there is no van. If there is no van, we will shuttle to the Easton Community Center which would require volunteers to be at the William Arts Center at 3pm sharp, we would get back to campus around 6:30pm. Overall, 3-6:30.
